OUR MISSION
The Western Environmental Science Technical Assistance Center for Environmental Justice (WEST EJ Center) will give your organization or group free hands-on help, training, resources, and support towards environmental and energy justice. We serve AZ, NV, CA, HI, and the US Affiliated Pacific Islands, including Native American tribes and Indigenous communities in these areas.

OUR TEAM
The WEST EJ Center is one of 16 centers in the EPA’s Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (EJ TCTAC) Program and was established to serve Region 9. The WEST EJ Center is powered by a network of collaborative coalition of academic and community-based partners with extensive networks with state and local government agencies, Tribal nations, Area Health Education Centers (AHECs), state offices of rural health, primary care associations and other community-based organizations across the region.
